Jay Chesterman and Ken Peterson raced in the Black Hills area over the Labor Day weekend on September 4th at the popular Dakota Five-O mountain bike race.

Jay finished 6th in the 30-39 age group with a time of 4:02:12. He finished an outstanding 9th overall out of the 500+ starters.

Ken finished 37th in the 40-49 age group with a time of 5:04:16.

Brian Eppen of Iowa City was the 30-39 winner and the overall 1st place finisher with a ridiculous time of 3:46:47. A full 5 minutes faster than the 2nd place finisher. -Posted 9/17/11
